About Dr. Williamson
Dr. Williamson grew up in Oklahoma and graduated with a BA from the University of Oklahoma in the early 1980's. After graduation she worked with the State of Oklahoma and Environmental Protection Agency inspecting hazardous waste sites for several years. She decided to change careers and elected to go into medicine. She graduated from the Oklahoma State College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1990 with Dean's Honors. She completed a 1 year general practitioner internship in Oklahoma City and then a 3 year Osteopathic Dermatology residency located in New Orleans. In December 1994, she became a Board Certified Dermatologist, by the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology.
After practicing for 3 years in Bedford, Texas with Dr. Dan Ingraham, Dermatologist, she established her own practice in Georgetown, Texas in October 1997. She then opened her second clinic in Burnet, Texas in 2006. In 2009 Dr. Williamson made the decision to return to Oklahoma, opening her dermatology clinic in Norman, Oklahoma in June 2010.

Through trials, tribulations and lots of long hours, I believe the staff and I have created a practice environment that is pleasant and professional. I am not a professional lecturer, or a researcher with a long list of publications. I strive to be a personable, knowledgeable clinician and dermatologic surgeon. I make decisions and advise patients in the same manner as I would family members and close friends. I want to personally welcome you to our clinic!
